What's New 38 published with new images from the winter of 2010. There are images from
three trips and a wedding. Two of these trips were in NSW – one paddling on the Murray, and
the other in the snow of Kosciuszko.

What's New 37 has just been released with new images from the summer of 2010. This
update includes images from three trips with two very different styles – one was a
super-fast attempt at completing Tasmania’s South Coast track in under 48 hours, the
other two were much slower paced trips guiding in the Tarkine.

This must be about my 10th week on Maria Island between Christmas and New Year. Apart from
one young penguin I found out and about in the middle of the day, this trip seems to be
dominated by sunset images!

Rob Gray & I have spent 3 or 4 years trying to get back together again for a photography trip
and it finally happened! In the Budawang Range, Morton National park we picked up these
wonderful images. You can see Rob's images at www.robgray.com.

Michael & I spent a few weeks in India visiting training schools, orphanages, and children’s
homes. We love India and its people, as I hope you can see from these images. I've limited
this gallery to the first 60 or so images, see the next What's New for more...

I had done this boat trip once before, but this time I spent a little more time looking

We’d been into the South West with our kids before. In fact, this trip came about because
on a trip a year previous, we thought it would be a good idea. It was hard work, but worth it!

Each year I shoot for Grace Christian Church’s magazine. It’s a fun way to get to

This was one of the most adventurous Overland trips I’ve ever done. We had one particularly
slow member and just when we were all getting used to it, another collapsed due to medical
reasons and had to be evacuated by helicopter. I won’t forget this one in a hurry.

This was my first year working with St. Andrews Cathedral School on their year 9 snow program.
Over 140 kids make their way to the snow in two groups – one the first week, one the next.
Including set up and pack down, we spent most of the month on the snow. Ironically, I’d
flown in from India (45 deg C) the day before going to the snow and froze for the first few nights!!

This was the end of a several month long overseas trip with our children. Whilst being a
fairly seasoned traveller, I admit to finding it daunting arriving with our two kids at
Delhi Airport at 2am! But we soon found our feet, and had such a wonderful time that we
ended up returning less than a year later...

We went to Paris by train from the UK as part of and extended overseas family holiday.
It was a lovely break for us (though expensive!) and we stayed with a lovely lady (Celia)
who ran a quaint B&B not far from town. Annette & I had been to Paris before, so this time
we took the kids to all the classic places – as you can probably tell from the photos!

The main purpose of our overseas trip was to visit some good friends in the UK. And we
had a truly lovely time with them. We travelled together up into Scotland and out onto
the Isle of Iona. I’d love to return to the UK on a purely photographic trip one day...

Our stop-off in Helsinki for a few days was a compulsory part of our very reasonable
FinAir ticket to the UK. But we weren’t disappointed. Once we got over the Scandinavian
fascination with high prices, we found some lovely places and even purchased some small
but pricy items for our house!

We stopped off for a week in Thailand as part of an extended overseas trip.
Our kids hadn’t been to South East Asia before and we thought this was a good way
to get started. It was a bit rushed, but we had a great time and decided that a
return trip was definitely on the cards!
