We had one particularly slow member and just when we were all getting used to it, another collapsed due to medical reasons and had to be evacuated by helicopter. Over 140 kids make their way to the snow in two groups – one the first week, one the next. Including set up and pack down, we spent most of the month on the snow. Whilst being a fairly seasoned traveller, I admit to finding it daunting arriving with our two kids at Delhi Airport at 2am!
